What is Prizm Prompt? A Prizm AI Prompt workspace for creating, improving, and reusing Prompts. Use the Chrome extension on any page, or the website workbench with no install. Read the introduction.
How do I open the website workbench? Open Optimize Prompt, Design Prompt, or My Prompts. Read the web workbench.
How do I open the extension workspace? On a normal webpage, click a text box and type /p, or click the floating ball on the right. Then choose Design Prompt, Optimize Prompt, My Prompts, or Easy Chat. Read browser workspace.
How do I quickly improve the current Prompt? In the extension, focus a supported non-empty field, press Command + J on macOS or Alt + J on Windows and Linux, and choose Low, Medium, or High. That shortcut does not open the workspace. The website has no in-field shortcut; use Optimize Prompt instead. Read one-click optimization.
When should I use the Full Prompt Optimizer? Use it for frameworks, a custom goal, iteration, before-and-after comparison, or separate testing of original and optimized versions. Read the Full Prompt Optimizer.
How do I use a saved Prompt? On the website, open My Prompts, select a Prompt, fill any variables, and copy the result. In the extension, type /p or click the floating ball, select My Prompts, search and select a Prompt, fill any variables, and insert the result. Read the Prompt library.
Where are Prompts stored? In the extension without sign-in they stay in the current browser. The website library appears after sign-in. After you sign in, Prompts can follow your account. Read account and data.
Where do I buy a plan, and where do I see remaining requests? Buy Pro or Extra on the website: open Member, then click Buy Now. After you sign in, Profile also shows usage. In the extension, click the Prizm Prompt icon in the Chrome toolbar, or open Options, then go to Member. Read plans and billing.
How do I redeem a CDK? Why did Checkout finish but my plan stay the same? Sign in, redeem the complete code in Member, then open Member again and check the plan. Completing Checkout does not always update Member immediately. Read plans and billing.
Compatibility
The extension works with enabled, writable text-like input fields, textarea, and contenteditable hosts, including plaintext-only where the browser exposes it normally.
Direct detection or insertion may be unavailable on protected pages, disabled or read-only fields, password/number/date/file controls, inaccessible cross-origin frames, canvas editors, and rich-text editors that keep content in a private document model.
When a side-panel or workspace flow cannot insert directly, use the clipboard fallback: copy the result, paste it manually, and verify formatting.
Troubleshooting
A shortcut does nothing. Confirm the extension is enabled, the command is assigned in chrome://extensions/shortcuts, and no other extension claimed the same shortcut. If Optimize is empty or opens Print, assign Command + J on macOS or Alt + J on Windows and Linux. On some Mac keyboard layouts, Option+P inserts π instead of running the command; reassign it there. Protected pages do not receive extension commands.
No editable field is detected. Focus an enabled writable text field. Read-only, disabled, password, inaccessible frame, canvas, and some rich editors can be unsupported.
The Prompt is empty. Quick Optimize skips empty or whitespace-only content.
Optimization does not complete. Check remaining requests and the network. In the extension, the field is locked while text streams in. Use Stop to cancel, then keep the partial result or restore the original. If generation fails or the page changes the field, the original text is restored when possible.
A result cannot be inserted / saved Prompts do not open. Return focus to a supported field, or use the workspace or side panel and paste. Confirm My Prompts contains an enabled Prompt. On the website, copy instead of inserting.
Prompts do not appear on another device. Use the same signed-in account. Visitor Prompts in the extension remain local. Sign-in alone does not upload Prompts saved before you signed in.
A CDK cannot be redeemed / Checkout completed but access did not update. Stay signed in, keep the visible error or reference code, and refresh Member. Opening Checkout does not grant access.

Provide browser version, extension version, operating system, page or editor type, exact steps, expected versus actual result, and non-sensitive error codes. Say whether the issue is focus detection, optimization, insertion, sync, account, Member, or CDK.
Do not send passwords, session cookies, access tokens, personal payment information, complete CDKs, or sensitive Prompt content. Discord and QQ are for community discussion; they do not replace formal support for account, payment, or private-data issues.
